Soccer practice

Here is some footage of soccer practice from last week. Note the voice saying "Shoot it Kasen!" toward the end. Kasen was on defense, but whatever! Ha!

The Wii

By the way.... both my sons TRAMPLE me in every game on the Wii.... how depressing.

Kasen came home today and I asked him what he did for P.E. His response: "We played a game called 'Knock over the Kindergartener'. Needless to say this warranted more explanation!! Ha!! After more prompting, it turned out to be a modified game of dodge ball (only rolling of the ball). Hilarious!

Kyler has discovered adjectives and adverbs. Now ALL of his sentences include words like "exactly", "amazing", "super-duper", and "perfectly". He was quite insistent yesterday that the car behind us was not "behind us" but "EXACTLY behind us"!

The boys have moved from basketball to indoor soccer, so hopefully we'll have soccer pictures soon.

The boys finished their basketball season today, and they both got trophies! They were very excited to show off their shiny trophies.

Blazer Mania!!!

The boys went to a basketball camp at the Rose Garden today. It was part of their YMCA b-ball series. One of the guys who worked with the Trail Blazers led the camp. It was really fun to see them playing in the big arena!

Kyler was the littlest guy there, and everyone was cheering him on. He loved it, of course, and got lots of attention!

Then Kasen got his name drawn out of a hat to be one of the boys that got to welcome the Blazers on the floor to the game tonight! Look at Kasen standing in line at the tunnel....

Kasen said "That was the coolest ever!!"

I also got some video of when the Blazers came out from the tunnel. It was funny because Kasen was busy watching himself on the JumboTron and forgot to look at the Blazers themselves!

Basketball and Wii

The boys have been playing with their new Wii NON-STOP since Grandpa bought it for them. They are very spoiled! Their favorite is a racing game, as you can see with the steering wheels.

Also, the boys had their pictures taken as part of their YMCA basketball leagues.

Kyler turned 4 in December, but his preschool birthday party was cancelled because of the snowstorm. Instead, we had a small birthday party at home while we were snowed in. Today, finally, we celebrated a very belated birthday party for Kyler at pre-school. Once we sang Happy Birthday to Kyler, he turned to me and very sincerely asked: "Am I 5 now?"

It was precious!

Kasen and Fuzzy

This is one of my favorite videos, of course! We brought a pony home for a couple weeks (last August) for the boys to ride. This is Kasen on the pony - he just started trotting by himself and giggling up a storm. After he got done, he told everyone "I like to go bouncy!" It was pretty cute!
